“No, don’t worry with your suitcase, dear”

I’ve been living out of a suitcase for almost a month now.  The suitcase is too big to go on an airplane without overage charges decently sized, but still cannot contain even a fourth of my wardrobe.  Spoiled American; I know, I know. There have been a few moments here and there where I want to pull out some hair, but mostly, the experience has been a good one.  For instance, fewer options has meant lower laundry levels and the getting dressed routine has been cut in half.  Any assistance getting ready on time is helpful for me;)

Though I look forward to months of NOT getting dressed each morning bent over a container of clothes that is forcing me to all-but-iron my underwear, this interesting experience has prompted me to reassess my entire attitude regarding the quantity of clothing I can legitimately determine “needing”.  It has also reminded me that my top wardrobe priority should be consistently be quality, not quantity.

I think this is the perfect time to reference you all back to a couple of posts C. Benjamin and myself did relating to quality and quantity:

5,10,15 items every woman should own

you can have it your way (the ultimate men’s dress shirt)

4 ways to wear a pencil skirt [this fall]

One last note; can a girl get some love on her personal Tumblr?? C.Benjamin’s recent spike in lovers/followers/question askers has got me jealous!
