When LEC first came out, a lot of people were skeptical about the longevity of the brand especially considering the demise of Martin and Osa around the same time.  They kept things pretty stayed with their first offerings, but the prices were right and the quality was solid folks rolled with them.  At first I thought they would never be a true alternative to brands like J. Crew or Gap but a good supplement… then they went and busted a proverbial nut on their F/W 2010 collection.  Not the least impressive is the introduction of slim chinos, something that was conspicuously missing the first go round.  Dope shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, and pants.  We will see what they come out with in terms of outerwear, but so far things look beyond promising and at less than $50 for slim chinos, Gap better protect their necks.

Lands’ End Canvas New Arrivals
With their Summer Sale now over, LEC has dropped dozens of new items for F/W 2010. I’m really feeling this shawl collar cardigan. Conspicuously absent is the maroon cardigan that got so much attention a while back. Hope we see that soon. Here are some highlights of what’s available.
Varsity Shawl Collar Sweatshirt - $39.50
Heritage Slim Fit Chino - $39.50Promising, especially at this price point, but need to try the fit and would like to see more colors.
Griffin Crest Tie - $39.50
